TWIN’S GARDEN BIRD FIRST BIRTHDAY PARTY

3

Madison and Mikayla’s First Birthday Party had a vintage baby bird/ Garden party theme. It was the beginning of Spring, which is perfect for the garden party and baby birds and we decided to get a big white tent for the backyard. We loved the baby bird idea but didn’t want the party to look like a baby shower since that is a common theme for baby showers. We stayed away from any nests and eggs which associate more with being born.

From there we just looked for bird cages, bird houses and flowers. Etsy was a great place to look for unique items to really enhance the party. The cake table was where everything started. I wanted the cake to be the show piece and everything play off of that.

We brought in a bounce house, a puppet show, bubble wands, and a paint your own birdhouse station. We bought small smocks for the children to wear while they painted. The children also loved the strawberry milk! The twins had a great time and loved the puppet show![/quote]

What a fabulous party setup. Your dessert table is extremely creative and the color combos go so great together. It is apparent that a great deal of thought went into this party!

I’m thrilled to be included in this event feature and party guide!!! Thank you! Special thanks to my customer (and talented photographer), Leslie Simmons. Leslie contacted me through my etsy shop (www.myadornables.etsy.com) and sumitted her order for the 16″ letter M, attaching her design preferences, colors, style, theme… I was very grateful to receive Leslie’s images. I just ADORE how the letter integrated into this sweet, exceptionally executed springtime baby birds party theme. …just love, love, love it all… Big kudos to Leslie and all the listed vendors (above) for helping pull it all together so tastefully!
