Burlesque Bridal Shower

“When girls want to have fun, watch out! I’m not saying this bridal shower was anything like The Hangover, but this bride-to-be and her friends know how to have a good time!” ~ Good Gracious! Events

THE EVENT ~ Guests were welcomed to a beautiful back yard Bridal Shower, hosted by a dear friend. The theme was “Bridal Burlesque,” hot pink and black  for girls that just want to have fun!  We brought in feather gift bags, boas, hot pink fans, pink parasols, and lots of pink balloons, including a balloon arch, and pink beach balls to fill the pool! We arranged for a glitter henna artist, a tarot card reader, full piece band and even two exotic dancers. Guests sipped on a specialty mojito with watermelon and cucumber, and a few delicious bites. For lunch the table were lined with hot pink roses, tables were  set in black china, and hot pink linens.  Black feather gift bags included a black garter belt, with a flight of Martini and Rossi pink Champagne and petite truffle boxes of black and pink polka dots that guests could eat or take home!

TREND ALERT! ~ “At many bridal showers and lunches, we have not been serving a plated dessert. Instead, we present guests with a lovely box of house-made truffles or another special indulgence. They then can eat them at the party, or take it home for later. At this event, we gave the truffles to each guest inside a glossy black bag that also contained this cute bottle of prosecco — pink of course!” ~ Good Gracious! Events
